What You’ll Get to Work On 


We are looking to hire an office administrator and bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the operation of the business and empower the organization to deliver value to its customers. You will be required to implement and drive operational processes such as people management, bookkeeping, office management and any other activities that are required for a smooth running of the company. This is a role for someone who is autonomous, a quick learner and motivated to work on projects that will have an important impact on everyone's experience at the company.


Since this is an office administrator role, we are looking for someone who will work at our physical office in Montreal at least 3 days a week.


Role and responsibilities:


  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning, implementing and maintaining office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Support bookkeeping process by submitting and reconciling expense reports, track employees purchases, file and sort documents.
  • Manage accounts payables and receivables, process payment received, customer invoicing.
  • Support people management processes by managing payroll changes, onboarding, documentation and assisting with internal events.
  • Provides general administrative support to the rest of the organization.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Business Administration Diploma preferred
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Office management experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Autonomy and self-learning skills
  • Oral and written French and English proficiency


Good to have:


  • Experience with BambooHR
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Experience working with rapidly growing businesses
